Tax Senior Manager - High Net Worth (Hybrid or Fully Remote)
Compensation: Up to $230,000
Schedule: Full-time
Overview
A growing, nationally recognized public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead engagements within its High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex client relationships, oversee diverse tax engagements, and mentor a talented team-all within a supportive, development-focused culture.
Responsibilities

Serve as Engagement Manager, overseeing planning, execution, deliverables, billing, and collections
Review complex individual, partnership, corporate, trust, nonprofit, and related tax returns
Work with clients across a range of industries including family office, real estate, QOZ, technology, distribution, and more
Analyze complex transactions and identify tax issues and opportunities
Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and communication with clients and internal teams
Build strong client relationships and identify additional service opportunities
Mentor and develop team members, supporting both technical growth and professional development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
CPA required
8+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients strongly preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Experience with tax software (CCH Axcess or similar) is beneficial
Proactive, strategic mindset with strong follow-through
